A wheel that handles heavy cargo loads and accommodates an integrated braking system within tight space constraints. The initially chosen standard wheel raised safety and maintenance concerns.
The Vlukon solution
Vlukon engineers designed a reinforced rim with a strengthening ring supporting the weaker areas of the deep profile. Several prototypes and test cycles led to a design that met every requirement.
